Hi dude, today when need installing VMware ESX on laptop or PC uder VMWare workstation for lab, we meet error like this. Here is simple fix VMware Workstation not support nested.
VMware Workstation does not support nested virtualization on this host.
Module 'MonitorMode' power on failed.
Failed to start the virtual machine.
I didn’t think before that the solution was so easy. ha ha :d.
Just to “Edit Setting” and then jump to Processor. And then uncheck “Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT Or AMD -V/RVI”.
Ok, the problem is gone.
Try again to install vmware ESX on vmware Workstation.
